Christina Darden has nearly 2 decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare research industry. Her results-oriented client-focused approach to project leadership includes strategic planning, financial management, process development, resource allocation, and mentoring of junior project managers. She designs and implements multisite, multinational, prospective cross-sectional and longitudinal surveys, as well as observational studies with both prospective and retrospective components, including satisfaction, burden of illness, treatment patterns, drug utilization, risk evaluation studies in both the United States and Europe, and literature reviews. Ms. Darden’s therapeutic experience includes central nervous system/neurology, oncology (breast, thyroid, neuroendocrine, non–small cell lung), osteoarthritis, diabetes, orthopedics, Alzheimer’s disease, and gastroenterology. Ms. Darden has experience with both electronic and paper-and-pencil–based data collection efforts and mobile health technology (wrist-worn activity tracker and mobile smartphone), has led or collaborated on numerous data collection projects involving multidisciplinary teams, and has experience conducting and leading qualitative interviews with patients and healthcare professionals for concept elicitation and cognitive debriefing. Ms. Darden previously worked as a quality assurance supervisor in the RTI HS Office of Quality Assurance, where she conducted internal project and process audits, managed the corrective and preventive action process, hosted external client audits, qualified subcontractors, provided project support as a quality assurance lead for multiple studies, and collaborated across practice areas to achieve consistency with records management and implementation of quality initiatives.
