Katie Druce has nearly a decade of research experience in academia, during which she has worked on a range of projects within the field of musculoskeletal epidemiology and has a particular interest in trying to understand patient-reported symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and mood. Dr. Druce has experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and she is a passionate advocate for patient and public involvement. Her research has spanned the use of registry studies and secondary data analysis, as well as primary data collection and analysis, including the use of digital data collection technologies (e.g., apps, wearables). Her work has been published in Rheumatology, PLoS ONE, JMIR, PAIN and BMJ OPEN, among other journals.
