Dr. Martina Sluga-O’Callaghan is skilled at conducting retrospective and prospective medical record reviews and surveys, feasibility assessments, exit interviews, burden-of-illness studies, and patient-reported outcome studies. Her areas of expertise also include the implementation and management of ethics and regulatory submissions, patient and physician recruitment, and data collection. Dr. Sluga-O’Callaghan’s therapeutic areas of interest include invasive fungal infections, rheumatology, women’s health, oncology, urology, neurology, respiratory disease, and psychiatry. Over the past 10 years, she has worked in the area of multinational observational studies, gaining extensive experience in the conception and implementation of qualitative and quantitative projects in Europe; Asia; and North, Central, and South America. She has more than 2 decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including several years in basic molecular biological research. Subsequent to her work in fundamental research, she worked in the area of pharmaceutical product marketing in a variety of Top 10 companies and was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies for marketed products and new launches.
