Núria Saigi-Morgui has over a decade of experience in multisite clinical research studies. In her current position, she coordinates and manages study implementation, data collection and management, quality control, and validation activities. She actively participates in writing study progress reports and memos for both clients and regulatory authorities and contributes to validation and dissemination activities. Dr. Saigi-Morgui’s doctoral research focused on the evaluation of the metabolic side effects and pharmacogenetics of psychotropic treatments through an observational clinical study that involved coordination of a multidisciplinary team, patient recruitment, and data collection. She also acquired experience designing and readapting study protocol according to guidelines and ethics committee requirements. Previously, Dr. Saigi-Morgui served as a research assistant with the World Health Organization, performing review and analysis of tuberculosis financing across low- and middle-income countries in Europe. During an internship on epidemiology at the Barcelona Public Health Institute, she investigated the profile of injection drug users and access to health services in Spain, gaining experience in cross-sectional studies. Other previous work involved monitoring the use of medicines and pharmaceutical devices, specifically with a focus on pharmacoeconomic purposes.
