Sarah Calhoun leads and supports a variety of projects, including observational studies (qualitative and quantitative). She has more than 15 years of experience in health services and outcomes research and over 2 decades of experience in SAS expertise and processing big data, as well as oversight of statistical operations. Mrs. Calhoun brings extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and leading big data registries. While at Duke Clinical Research Institute, Mrs. Calhoun led large-scale prospective and retrospective observational studies, including patient-reported outcomes, registries, PCORnet, electronic medical records, claims, and wearable device data. She has extensive experience leading data coordinating center services, including data management, programming, and statistical support. She is experienced in operationalizing and overseeing large-scale projects using Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data. Mrs. Calhoun has worked in various therapeutic areas, including cardiology, thoracic surgery, oncology, rare diseases, pulmonology, and vaccines, as well as with professional society, government, and industry projects.
