Yiwei Zhang is experienced in developing disease models and simulation optimization models to provide quantitative evidence for public health decisions and develops and validates infectious respiratory disease models (e.g., COVID-19 and measles) in her role at RTI-HS. She also has experience working on projects with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. Prior to joining RTI HS, she worked as a research assistant for 3 years at NC State University. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at various professional conferences.
