Na’ngono Manga undertakes and manages projects dealing with cost-effectiveness models, budget-impact models, and model validation, as well as systematic reviews and gap analyses. After graduating as a pharmacist, he completed a PhD in chemometrics, developing parametric and nonparametric statistical models to predict drug metabolism in humans. His Master’s dissertation focussed on estimating the cost of ventilator-associated pneumonia in England and the cost-effectiveness of the Venner PneuX proprietary endotracheal tube. Dr. Manga joined RTI HS from health informatics specialists First DataBank Europe, where he first worked in a role involving clinical and technical prototyping of new products and went on to contribute to the development of a novel medicines optimisation software now successfully used by a number of clinical commissioning groups (regional National Health Service commissioning groups) across England. Dr. Manga is a member of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association.
